hace frio!!

It's not supposed to be this cold in Florida XDD Last night, Melvin and I were freezing our butts off; it had to have been at least 40 degrees (plus wind chill = cooold for us Floridians). Today, it's a little nicer, prolly around 50. I'm off to play soccer in about 15 minutes. :) Cold weather is so great to play sports.

Happy New Years :)

music: my mom wrapping some last minute presents.

I'm so happy 2007 is gone... now onto my graduation year. :) It's incredible how fast time goes by; I remember when I was an itty bitty freshmen at Hillsborough High School, dreading the IB program. Now, it's almost over. I just have to jump the hurdles of the exams in May, and I'm finished. Onto college and a new life! Woohoo!! :D

Last night Maite came over and we basically caught up, talked, played some Wii, and then went to the Carrolwood soccer fields to set off some fireworks with some people from school. Fireworks scare me :< At one point one of the huge fireworks got stuck on the ground and set off close to us. XDD That was a big scare. Afterwards, we went back home, and at the count down we ate our 12 grapes and threw the bucket of water out the window.

Yesss!!

It's so amazing to read all these posts, and see the change I've been through. It's like a time warp, or something. I decided to revive this journal... Who knows what will come of it?

Leave your name and:
1. I'll respond with something random about you.
2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3. I'll pick a dish I would prepare for you.
4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me.
5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
6. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal. You MUST. It is written.

:D

Homecoming tonight. Pictures later (maybe).

Man, my weekend is ruined. The one Saturday where I don't have a game, I'm swamped with History homework. This is the most homework I have EVER gotten in one class... EVER.

20 timeline entries: All of Saturday.
3 FRQ outlines: All of Sunday.
20 Supplements: In Between the Timeline and the FRQ Outlines.
3 Summaries: Ditto.

PLUS Geometry homework that I'll probably copy from someone, a lab for Chem and Ch. 6 work, and also Dante's Inferno Reading Lens is due on Tuesday. *sigh*

Good thing is I get a break this afternoon. Going to my friend's hosue for her party thing and we're going tubing. :DDDD Yesssss.

So like, this weekend was so much fun. I laughed so much and it made me feel so much better. :)

Today I went to Katherine's house to work on the English project with Sean, Rose, and Brittany. We finished it in like an hour. Then Rose and Brittany left, and we talked, and then Melvin came over and then we went canoeing (sp?). Sean sucks at steering and we ran into like, a million trees (yes, trees growing out of the water). We got so wet, so we hosed off and I changed into Kat's tiny clothes. :P Not really tiny, tiny, but the pants were so tight. @_@ We jammed to the Numa Numa song or whatever and orchestrated Mario. That was weird.

Firday I left school early for Atlanta Cup. We drove 8 hours to Georgia (not even Atlanta, it was someplace called Morrow). Stuff happened, don't feel like typing, bye.

This sucks ass. I'm getting the case of vertigo again. This morning, whenever I would put my head down I would get really sizzy and nauseous (sp?) and now whenever I turn my head I feel like throwing up. This has happened before a while ago but it stopped and I guess it's starting back up again. :( Maybe I should drink more water??? *starts chugging*

Good news is that I got my permit! Yay! Bad news is that on said permit, my first name is spelled wrong! Not yay! How can any kind of idiot with my frickin' BIRTH CERTIFICATE spell my NAME wrong?! >_< Stupid DMV people.

I want to get my first lesson in stick shifting (:P) today, but my dad's in a bad mood and I don't want to push him over the edge.

We leave early from school tomorrow with Trini to Atlanta for Atlanta Cup. :D Excitement.

Yesterday was so much fun. I wokue up at 8:30 to go to a scrimmage against the U15 boys. It was really fun to play against guys. They were really fast and stuff. I slide tackled this guy and he went FLYING, which was awesome. :P We lost 4-1 (two were offsides though), but we were dominating the whole game. :)

After that we went home and Sara was waiting outside to pick me up. I got mys tuff and went to her house. We jumped in the pool, then watched the Mr. Bean movie (I looove Mr. Bean), and then we got ready to go tubing. OMG, it was soooo much fun! I can't believe I hadn't done this sooner! Sara and I were on the tube thing, and her dad went really really fast, so when we he turned the boat, we had to hang on for dear life. XD I fell off twice, but it was just... awesome. I also tried skiing, but I couldn't get up on the skis. :P After that, we went to the Rowdies reunion game thing. It was a round robin against the USF alumni, UT alumni, and, of course, the Rowdies. Then afterwards was a game between the real USF and UT teams. But we left, since they suck. :D

That about sums it up. Yesterday was the happiest I've been in a little while. I hope I'll stay like this the rest of the week (I'll need it with the sheer amount of homework we're being given). -___-

Oh em gee, Atlanta Cup in two weeks. :DDDDD I can't wait!

Ok, so I was supposed to watch Shawshank (I know, again) with Katya, but my ass of a father sent it backa lready. >_< And no one even watched it! Blasphemy.

After school I went to Tia's Tex Mex with Katya, Torrey, Abby, and Ilene. It was fun, we talked and stuff and there was a lady that looked EXACTLY like Mrs. Griffin. XD I swear to god, down to the clothing and the hair cut. All we needed to know is if she wobbled when she walked or not. :P

Today at school... was very eventful. There's a continuation to the gun story. It all starts with this boy breaking up with his girlfriend. Said girlfriend has a bajillion family members and all of them gang up on boy. They threaten boy, boy gets scared and tells his mom. Mom calls school and asks them to protect him (or something along those lines). Boy buys gun in case they jump him (just for show, no bullets). Teacher sees gun in boy's pocket, tells resource officer, officer arrests boy. Today, said boy's mom comes to school, throws a fit and starts attacking people (or something like that). Police officer beats her with a stick and shoots her with a tazer gun and they handcuff and arrest her. I was in Spanish and we all saw her getting in the police car. It was interesting. I hope the whole school year is like this. :D

I'm pissed that I have to get up at 8:00 to go to a stupid soccer game. -__- Rawr.

Got a lot of homework in Gast. ;__;

There's a gigantic moth flying around the living room, and whenever i go to smoosh it, it goes spastic and starts attacking me. So I took refuge in my room. :P I feel like I have a lot more to talk about... but I don't. Oh well. Bye.

Edit: After taking Luckie out (around 10:00-ish), we decided to jump in the pool cuz the water looked so good. :P And it FELT good. It was so warm and stuff; it was really relaxing. :)

School: Day 2

Aug. 6th, 2005 | 12:51 am
mood: tired tired
music: my cat whining

I'm gonna keep this short, cuz I don't feel very well and I want to go to sleep. -__-

Today, in the morning, I had Chemistry, which was gay. The room is filled with boxes so we have to sit on farkin' stools. I sat next to Jamar and he gave me a Rabi~en~Rose keychain and a Dejiko eraser from Japan. Little things make me happy. :) When the bell rang to leave and I got off the stool, my butt was numb and my back hurt. >_< I'm not really looking forward to this class.

After that I trekked all the way to the 500 hall for English. I am so in love with Mrs. Sarrett AND the class. Katherine sits diagonal from me, Sean sits next to me, and Brittany sits in front of me. There are other people too that I can't really remember. Mrs. Sarrett is hilarious and so nice. She talked to us about Poetry Moments aka Pomo's. I'm looking forward to the Pomo's. :P

Web Design: easy. Done with all my work.

Lunch: Hot and boring. Talked to people, blah blah blah.

Driver Ed: Practically fell asleep. When do we get to the driving part?

JA wit Susar. It was ok. I like where the room is situated it's on the 2nd floor facing the front of the building and one side of the room is just windows, so I was watching the thunderclouds go by. :P Candice is there, so is Katie and Jordan. The rest are Freshmen and Seniors, I don't think there are any Juniors.

And that's it. I'm liking Day 2's better than Day 1's. I only I have two block classes. :D

After school I took a 20 minute nap (mor like a rest) and then at pizza. Slept again. Went on the computer. Went to Target to get school supplies and came back home. Showered, cleaned my room, and now I'm going to bed. *yawn*

School: Day 1

Aug. 4th, 2005 | 05:24 pm
mood: cheerful cheerful
music: Art-School - Boku no Bibi no Tame ni

So, school was today for those that didn't know. I woke up before I was supposed to, so I got ready and stuff. Didn't eat anything (I normally don't) and left with Katya at 6:40-ish. Got there at 7:10-ish. Went to homeroom (didn't see Sara at the front of the school). I walked in, the sun blinding me, and I saw this lady that looked about 25-ish. She looked nice, but then she walked out of the room and in came this ugly fat lady. Enter Mrs. Sigmon, my new homeroom teacher. Jesus Christ, how anal can she get? "Stop talking when I'm talking" and "I'm not going to wait for you to stop talking" and blah di blah di blah! ~_~ I miss Dr. Linsin so much, he was defininetly the coolest teacher ever. :(

Apparently, Anita Solanki, this girl that went to my middle school, transferred from Land O' Lakes to Hillzbo, and she's in my homeroom. Another smart Indian to add to the collection. Talked to people, bell rand, went to Geometry. Omg, I'm so happy I got in boom boom math. It was so easy!! She gave us our first assignment and it was like... graphing lines and stuff. So easy. Thank you Mr. Caballero for putting my in Geo. :D I sit around a lot fo cool people, and the room is so small, so we're really close together. Haha, not that it's a good thing, but I prefer small rooms over big spacy ones.

Got the Geo book and left for Spanish. Mr. Pakcard sucks at life. Period. He went off on this tangent, talking about how this lady in Mexico swept poo on his head or something. x_X <-- I was like that the whole time, staring at this one spot in the wall. It was SO goddamn boring. Got nothing accomplished there, so I left for Web Design. So easy, I finished the assignment way before anyone (probably cuz I type fast). Logan sits diagonal from me (though he's in Web I) so we talked a bit. Then we went to lunch. B Lunch again for me this year, but I get to switch to C in Semester II, so it's all good. Gerald has A Lunch, which sucks. He's hilarious.

Went to Drivers Ed. Mr. Lentz is funny/gay. And really old. Mr. Jordan is super duper nice. Why did I get the old fat guy? Anyway, he talked about licenses and stuff and made us divide 6 into 20. Picked on us IB kids (Jonathan, Trina, Henri, Yu, Emily, Courtney, Katherine, Lauren, and Trent are in my class) for no reason, but Katya said he does that all the time. Whatever. I can't wait to drive though. I'm gonna be tearing up those sorry excuses for cones. :P Oh, and ther'es this asian guy in the class name Tho Tran, but he insists to be claled Tito. It's hilarious. Can't wait to see him get into the car. XD

After that I trekked all the way up to History. There weren't any seats left by Melvin or Katherine (poopie), so I sat in the back under the noisy ass fan. Omg, I LOOOOVE Mr. Gast. He is so goddamn funny. XD Sucks that the course is gonna rape me left and right. ;___; We did a practice DBQ about the Protestant Reformation and I know if he graded it I would get a 0. We got our heavy ass history books and left. End of the day. Yippee. I didn't see Sara all day though, which sucks.

So now I'm here typing this. Wonder how Day 2 is going to be. I have Chem and English tomorrow. Woohoo.

Oh, and is it just me or is Gackt turning into a Yoshiki look-a-like?

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Look at that. The resemblance is uncanny. :P

And this is the cover to his album Diabolos. It's coming out September the 14th or something. I hope it's good. :]

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Look at that. His face is BEAUTIFUL, especially the eyes. And his nakedness... yum. Cheers to Gackt! :D

EDIT: I noticed I said 'Look at that' twice. :P Silly me.

mood: sick sick
music: Fake? - Had a Gun

CDJapan sent out the CD I bought yesterday. I hope it'll come soon; I want to listen to it soooo bad!

On Monday I went to soccer practice (even though I thought I was gonna die). We ran around and stuff... scrimmaged the 16U's (and kicked booty). My sister then drove me to Sara's house where I slept like a rock. Met her friends from other schools, ate homemade ice cream, had a jolly good time. We looked at pictures from her trip to Spain and she gave me my present when everyone was gone (a Pucca watch, a cute shirt, and a gigantic bar of chocolate). Tuesday: Stephen came over and we all sat on Sara's waterbed and talked when we were supposed to be making a poster for FCA. Left for Open House.

Now, Open House was... interesting. Reunited with a lot of people and stuff. The hallway with all the tables for clubs was soooo stuffy and hot! I hated it. >_< I was sweating like crazy and water was a dollar a bottle. Crazy mofos. Sara worked her shift at the FCA table and we walked around the school (which, btw, is getting more and more beautiful as the renovations come to a close). The auditorium was so pretty! They put this... thing on the ceiling... it made it look like a cathedral. And the stained glass was restored and you can see it a lot better. Still, there's that nasty fumey smell that made me a bit sick. >_<

I heard the new homeroom teacher (sicne Dr. Linsin left ;__;) was a girl fresh out of college or something, so that should be really fun. :D Sara and I helped Melvin look for Sean so he could give him his copy of Ender's Game (took forever). Went back to the hallway and saw Katya. We talked and looked over the newspaper (Abby and Torrey did a lot of the articles and Katya took the pictures of the Safety concert :D) and then went to McDonald's for a McFlurry. Katya and I went home and watched Les Choristes with Aita. Holy shizzat, it was so good! Omg, I'm definitely going to download the soundtrack. The kid Morhange had such a beautiful voice! And Pepinot was so cute! >_<

I had the best sleep ever last night, which is weird, since I haven't had one for a long time. o.o I woke up and had the WORST stomach ache ever. ;____; I took two Advils and laid down for a while. Seriously, I thought I was going to throw up it was so bad. Being a girl sucks ASS.

Oh ya, the walls were painted. The main color is like... a yellow-y color and the accent is... pink-ish borwn-ish salmon-y. It looks all right but I could've picked better colors.

School starts tomorrow!! *shiver* We have to stay in homeroom for like... half the day. Poo. I think I'm gonna buy Romance of the Three Kingdoms (finally) to pass the time. Katya and I may go see The Island today (all our friends say it's really good AND it has Ewan McGregor in it *droool*). That's about it. Oh ya, and soccer tonight. Shit, I don't wanna go. -____-

mood: exhausted exhausted
music: Kim Yoon Ah - Booranun Yunghonul Jamshikhanda

Couldn't sleep all night for some odd reason. I went to sleep at 12 and woke up at 6:30 for the stupid soccer game that's like... 50 miles away (not really, I'm obviously exaggerating). So Katya and I went, got lost a couple of times and finally found our way to the fields. I remembered them from when I played in Regions two years ago. They SUCK. I HATE these fields with a passion. But anyway, we played against Gulf Coast (didn't really know how they played, all I knew was that the U16 team sucked). So we played them. And for playing against 19 year olds, they sucked. But we lost 2-0. None of them were my fault, both of them came from the other side of the field.

At the beginning of the game I ran this fast girl over and the ref (which I hate as well) called a PK. The girl kicked... and MISSED. Jesus fucking christ, the goal is like 12 feet wide! How can you friggin' miss?! -___- Even I could kick it and make it.

All and all, it was fun to play. The girl I was marking was aggressive, so I got to knock her around a bit (despite her empty threats).

This afternoon we play... Oldsmar I think? Maybe. Don't know anything about them either. *shrug* I'm sweaty and smelly; I wish I could take a shower. >_<

School starts in 5 days. *quivers with anticipation* I can't friggin' wait. :D

Oh ya, and Katya told me to press this button when I was updating my iPod, and it completely erased all the songs on it. -____- All 4,000+ songs... sucks booty, but I can't do anything about it. Time to start rebuilding.
